All AI tools are allowed. Build with anything.
Students register individually or as a team (1–5 members) through the official online registration form. Teams provide their project details and participant information before the deadline.
Participants identify a real-world problem and brainstorm an innovative solution. The idea should create value for society, education, business, healthcare, or any other field.
Teams transform their idea into a working prototype using AI, programming, no-code, low-code, or any modern technology. Innovation and practicality are more important than complexity.
Each team submits a demonstration video explaining the problem they identified, their solution, how the prototype works, the technologies used, and the potential impact of the project.
A panel of judges evaluates all submissions based on innovation, creativity, problem-solving, technical implementation, real-world impact, and presentation quality.
The highest-scoring projects are shortlisted as finalists and officially announced by the organizing committee.
Selected finalists will be invited to showcase their projects at TechFusion – TechDay 2026, organized by the Faculty of Technology, Trinity College Kandy, where they will present their innovations to judges, sponsors, educators, industry professionals, and visitors.
After the final evaluation, winners will be announced and awarded titles such as Champion, Runner-Up, and Emerging Champion, along with certificates and sponsor prizes where applicable.
